Obituary of Elizabeth L. "Molly" Jackson

With sadness, the family of Elizabeth "Molly" Jackson announces her passing at Groves Memorial Hospital, on Saturday, October 12, 2013 in her 98th year. Molly was a resident at the Caressant Care Nursing Home, Arthur, ON for the past five and one half years. Loved daughter of the late Mary Woolnough (1957) and the late Richard McEllistrum (1956). Beloved wife of the late Howard Allen Jackson (1977). Loved mother of Edward Jackson (Judy) of Kelowna, BC, Donna Matthews (Cliff) of Woodstock and Patricia Bailey of Guelph. She will be greatly missed by her dear sister Marguerite Cowbrough of Grimsby. Loving grandmother to her six grandchildren: Cara, Bryce, Kelly, Deanna, Jeffrey and Matthew and very proud grandmother to her twelve beautiful great grandchildren. Predeceased by her brothers: Jim (2011), Bill (2000), Fred (1985), Donald (1954), Arthur (infant) and her sisters: Alice Robertson Ward (1997) and Dorothy Bryant (2006). Special thanks to the staff at Caressant Care for the excellent care over the years and making her feel at home, and of course for Bingo on Thursdays. Molly was a long time employee of Zellers in Guelph who had the summers off to enjoy her place at Sauble Beach.
