Obituary of Robert Gary Tims
Peacefully, at the Guelph General Hospital, on Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at the age of 81 years. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Ann Tims (08/26/2012). Loved dad of Kathy Owen (Ron) of Winnipeg, Linda Black of Elora, Bob (Nancy), Chris Martin (Ed), Carol Hayden (Mark) all of Guelph, Jim of Elora and the late Tommy and Doug. Cherished Grandpa/Poppa of Chris, Ed, Jessica, Jen, Jamie, Ashley, Tom, Julie, Sara, Heather, Andrew, Phil, Adam, Devin and Dillon, Grandpa-Grandpa to Angel, Cameron, Bailey, Liam, Ethan, Lauryn, Grace, Gavin, Mackenzie, Kaitlyn, Emma, Callum, Matthew and Robert. Dear brother in-law of George Heeley (June), Ada Rutherford (Jim), Clare Goulden and proud uncle of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Henry and Rose (Mitchell) Tims; all his siblings: Dorothy, Philip, Alan, Marjorie Douglas, Donald, Fred and his son-in-law Lloyd Black. Bob loved sharing his time with his family, nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends. He was a quiet and gentle man and will be fondly remembered for his fun filled family picnic outings and trips.
