Obituary of E. Barrie Dryden
Passed away peacefully at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus, on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at the age of 87 years. Barrie was a well known resident of Eramosa Township where he farmed for many years. He will be dearly missed by his good friend and neighbour Fred Hawkins (Lorna). Fred and Barrie worked side by side, day by day for many years together. Barrie was brother in law to Mary Lou (late Gordon); Uncle to William Barrie and friend to many. Predeceased by his parents; George B. Dryden and Florence (nee Parkinson). Visitors may call at the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph (from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 30). Service in the chapel on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 10 a.m. Reception at the funeral home to follow, with Interment at Johnson Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Groves Memorial Hospital Building Fund would be appreciated. We invite you to leave your condolences and donations online.
