Obituary of Robert "Bob" Lovell

LOVELL, Robert John "Bob" Passed away suddenly on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at the age of 71. Beloved husband and soulmate of Merilyn Louise (Bridges) Lovell. Loving father of Jay (Karla) of Guelph and Sean (Andrea) of Kitchener. Proud grandpa of Maxwell. Dear brother of Linda Kornya of Portland, Oregon. Bob will be fondly remembered by several nieces, nephews, the Bridges families, many friends and acquaintances and for his involvement as a civil war confederate reenactor Sargent with the Donaldsonville Louisiana Light Artillery. Sadly missed by his feline companion Sophie. Cremation has taken place. Heartfelt thank you to Guelph Police Services, The Fire Department, Wellington Paramedic Services and the staff at the Guelph General Hospital for all their efforts during this trying time. Funeral services will be held at GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph on Monday, September 12, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. The family will greet friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
