Obituary of Beverley Diane Roffey

Roffey, Beverley Diane (nee Gurr) ~ On Thursday, May 8th, 2014 she passed away at the Guelph General Hospital after a courageous yet brief battle with cancer at 54 years of age. Beloved wife and best friend of Greg Roffey for 25 years. Proud and loving mother to son James and loving friend to his girlfriend, Jacquelyn Timperio. Loved daughter of Helen and the late Doug Gurr (2010) and daughter in law of Ken Roffey and the late Geraldine (2010). Beverley will be missed but fondly remembered by her brothers and sisters, David (Tara) Gurr, Sandra Gurr-Lacroix (Dan Lacroix), Sharon Gurr and Paul Gurr; sisters in law, Jane Roffey (Gary Hill) and Martha (Robert) Cutting and brother in law William (Sandra) Roffey, numerous nieces, nephews and countless friends. Beverley was a long time employee of over 25 years at the Izaak de Rijcke Law Firm. Avid golfer and curler formally holding memberships at both the Guelph Cutten Club and Guelph Curling Club. She was a passionate and devoted baseball and hockey mom, with an infectious smile that will never be forgotten.
