Obituary of Barbara Ann Nichols

Nichols, Barbara Ann ~ We are sad to announce the passing of our Mother and Grandmother, Barbara Nichols (Childerley) after several years of poor health, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Friday, January 1, 2016 at the age of 78. Barb was predeceased by her husband William (Bill) Nichols, her parents Harry and Violet Childerley and her four brothers and three sisters. She was the last remaining member of her family. Left missing her are her daughters: Dawn (Dave), Joni (Ed), Lynn (Craig) and Debra; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She will also be missed by her brother-in-law Keith Moody, sisters-in-law Verda Waterhouse, Wilma Childerley, Sandra Childerley and dear friends Don & Junne Schneider. Friends may call at the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph Thursday, January 7th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, January 8th at 11 a.m. Memorial contributions to the Alzheimers Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
