Obituary of Betsy Hie

Hie, Elizabeth Ann "Betsy" Passed away at the Grand River Hospital on Wednesday July 20th, 2016. Pre-deceased by her husband, Bill Kelly (2008). Loving mother of Sarah (Scott) Service and Becky Hie. Will be dearly missed by her fiancé John Dool. Proud grandma to Lacey, Kyle and Dylan and great-grandma to Bentley and Grace. Will be missed by her sisters Lenore (Dan) Hie, Rose Hie, Theresa (Terry) Gammie and Barb (Larry) Hie and her brothers Leonard (Patty) Hie and Tim (Kelly) Hie. She will also be missed by her furry friends Lucky, Spaz, Maggie, Mouse, Lady Star and Colby. Predeceased by her grandson Aaron (2003), her sister Lily Brown and her parents Leonard and Theresa Hie. The family will receive visitors from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. (Vigil Prayers at 7 p.m.) on Monday July 25th at GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph, ON. The Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday July 26th at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, at Huron & Alice Streets, Guelph, ON. Interment at Marymount Cemetery.
