Obituary of Barry Paxton

Paxton, Barry Passed away suddenly and peacefully at Hamilton General Hospital on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at the age of 53 years. Beloved husband of Joy. Dear brother of Butch (Debbie), Rhonda Wortman (Kevin), Tim and the late Angela; Much loved brother-in-law of Franzis Randall (Allan), Franz Henke (Paula Prong) and Silke Henke and son in law of Franz and Eva Henke. Barry will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Predeceased by his parents James and Gladys Paxton of Shelby, North Carolina. As well as spending time with friends and family, Barry worked hard to achieve and was very proud of his Master Electrician designation. Friends are invited to the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph on Monday, September 4th from 2 – 3 p.m. A Celebration Service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 p.m. Please come casual; blue jeans preferred. Cremation will take place privately, at a later date. If desired, memorial contributions to the Guelph Humane Society or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
