Obituary of John Richard "Dick" Yeoman

Yeoman, John Richard "Dick" ~ Passed away after fighting the biggest fight; with strength and dignity, surrounded by family at Hospice Wellington on Sunday, March 31, 2019, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Marilyn and the late Marion (1998). He was the loving and best father one could ever hope for of; Gary (Diana), Brian (Diane), Wendy (Wence) and Paul (Karen). He was the proud Grandpa of Carey Anne (Mike), Cory (Angela), Andrew (Jennifer), Maggie (Scott), Sarah (Kevin), Christian, Angelica, Alessia, Megan, Mikayla, Adam and Megan (Dane) and great-grandpa of 13. Dick was the dear brother of Shirley Wilks (Bev), Ted (Betty) and the late Dorothy. He will also be fondly remembered by Marilyn’s children; Rick (Debbie), Scott (Caryn), Kathy (George) and their children who knew him as Gramps. Family will receive friends at GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph on Friday, April 5 from 7 – 9 p.m. for memorial visiting (cremation has taken place). A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 6 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with a reception following at The Guelph Country Club.
