Bravo, Maria Maria Goretti Fernandes Rego Bravo graced us with her life, passing away on July 23, 2019 at 5:07 p.m., peacefully with her family by her side. Her outgoing personality, smile and kind nature will not be forgotten. Maria and Antonio Bravo were the genuine example of true love, celebrated 48 years of marriage – he will miss her dearly. Through their love, she will be remembered by Liz Bravo and family - Marcus, DJ, Julio, Marina and great grandson Krystiano, Tony Bravo and family - Mila, Santino, Serena and Ariana, Jessica Bravo and family - Geoff, Alessandro and Ella, Sarah Lago (nee Bravo) and family- Dave, Delano, Silas and Xavier. Maria is loved by many and she fought her cancer with strength, courage and faith. God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, so He put his arms around you and whispered, "Come to Me". God broke our hearts to prove to us. He only takes the best. We’ll love you forever, We’ll like you for always, As long as we are living, Our mother you’ll always be. Visitation will be held at the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph on Friday, July 26, 2019 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Joseph’s Church, 409 Paisley Rd., Guelph on Saturday, July 27 at 10:00 a.m. Interment and reception following at Marymount Cemetery, 5400 Sideroad 6 S. (highway 6), Guelph. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to SickKids Foundation or request a Mass Card.
