Obituary of Norma Betty "Mac" Whittle

Whittle, Norma Betty "Mac" – nee McCaw Norma passed away peacefully, at her home in Guelph on December 11, 2019 in her 94th year. She was the much loved and proud mother of Janet Voris (the late Mike) of Guelph, Larry (Karen), of Kincardine and Annie (Fred Rossi) of Guelph and of course, her precious Zephyr. She was the cherished grandmother of Greg Whittle and Jessica (Shaun Booth). Great grandmother of Jared and Abigail. Norma will also be fondly remembered by sister-in-law Jane Ann McCaw, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and all those who came to know her. She is predeceased by her husband Bob Whittle (2004), parents Joe and Gladys McCaw, brother Gerald, and sisters Helen, Marion, Mable, Ruth and Pat. Norma was honoured to be a WWII Veteran W.R.C.N.S., member of both the Colonel John McCrae Legion and Navy League in Guelph. Born in Greenbush, Prince Edward County, she has now gone to "the big sleep" and is in a place where her wine glass will never be empty. Thanks to Mobility in Motion, LHIN (CCAC), Bayshore and Dr. Kennedy, for their support and compassion in allowing Norma to be comfortable and able to stay in her home. As per Norma’s wish, there will be no service. The family will have a celebration of life in her home at a later date. Memorial contributions in Norma’s name to the Poppy Fund, Colonel John McCrae Legion, Branch 234, Guelph would be appreciated.
