Obituary of Evarist Moyaert

MOYAERT, Evarist Charles Passed away peacefully at LaPointe-Fisher Nursing Home on Monday February 17, 2020. Born February 29, 1924 in Harrow Ontario. Husband of the late Bertha Charlotte (nee Mens) Moyaert (2000). Brother of Marcel and George. Predeceased by his sisters Blanche, Jeanette, Zarina and his brother Julius. Evarist farmed in PEI and went to what was then called "Rhodesia" in the 60’s to farm and returned to Canada in the 80’s. He liked to fish. And in his retirement played snooker at the community centre and enjoyed going to the casino. Cremation has taken place. Friends may call at the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph on Thursday February 27, 2020 from 12:00-1:00 p.m.followed by a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Basilica of Our Lady Immaculate or to the Foundation of the Guelph General Hospital.
