HOLMAN, Luella Arlene "Lue"
Passed away peacefully at the Guelph General Hospital on Friday, June 25, 2021 at the age of 87 years. Loved mother of Terry Holman (Lori), Kevin Holman, and Nancy Fowler (Michael). Proud grandmother of Patrick Holman (Linsey), Brennan Holman, and Jonathan Fowler and great grandmother of Noah, Charlotte and Jonah Holman. Dear sister of Lorna Becker (Lloyd), Ronald Brundle (Bev), Doreen Norman (the late Jerry), the late Karl Brundle, Fred Brundle (Joyce), Sheila Voisin, Lois Fewster (John), Bonnie Wettlaufer, Danny Brundle (Billie), the late Russell Brundle (the late Sue), Verne Brundle, Gayle Darechuk and Brenda Lougheed (Steve). Lue will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many dear friends. Lue was active in many activities in the Royal City. She worked for Bell Telephone upon arriving in Guelph as a young woman and then worked for Imperial Tobacco for over 30 years until retiring in 1996. Post retirement, Lue enjoyed volunteering at the River Run Centre, going to the Seniors Centre, and was a regular participant with the Guelph Boomer Club. Throughout her life, Lue loved to travel near and far with anyone who was up for an adventure! She enjoyed playing cards, curling, gardening, cheering for the Blue Jays, and sharing lots of laughter with friends and family.
A live streamed celebration of Lue’s life will take place at the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph, on.Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Physical attendance to this event will be by invitation only.
