Obituary of David Mathews

MATHEWS, David James Passed away suddenly, at home, on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at the age of 70. Beloved husband of Norma Joan (Brown) Mathews. Loved father of Leah Mathews (Shane O’Neill) and Jana Flore Mills (Jonathan) all of Guelph. Proud grandfather of Harrison and Everly O’Neill and Jayden Flore Mills. Dear brother of Connie Antonissen (Louis) and brother-in-law of Marlyn Howard (Rowland). Proud uncle of Steven Antonissen (Melanie) and their daughter Kyla; Mark Howard (Sarah) and Brian Howard (Karen) and their son Nathan. David will be fondly remembered by many. His infectious laugh will stay with us forever and we are sure he will be teaching everyone in heaven how to waltz on rollerskates. Cremation is taking place with a private graveside service at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions to Children’s Wish Foundation or Heart & Stroke would be appreciated.
