Obituary of Margaret Hunter

HUNTER, Margaret Florence Gertrude Passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 16, 2022 after a lengthy and courageous battle with dementia. Margaret passed away just shy of her 89th birthday. She has been reunited in heaven with her everlasting love, Donald Bruce Hunter. Margaret was the proud and loving mother of their four children Mark (Sandy), Cameron (Anissa), Maria (Frank Dileonardo) and Carolyn (Richard Goodchild). She was the loving Grammie to Lisa (Trevor Boudreau), Jeff Hunter(Caitlin Seawright), Jordan and Emily Dileonardo, Zachary, Brodie and Avery Goodchild and Great-Grammie to Griffon Boudreau and Noah and Lachlan Hunter. She was a fantastic big sister to Shirley Mock, Howitt Evans (Marilyn), Tom Evans (Karin), John Evans (Mary) and Patricia Maltby (deceased), and will fondly be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Thursday May 19, 2022, 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Gilchrist Chapel, McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, 1 Delhi Street Guelph, ON. Funeral service will be held on Friday May 20, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Gilchrist Chapel. A luncheon will be held immediately after the service, followed by burial at Farnham Cemetery. A very special thank you to the staff at Eden House for their loving and compassionate care of our mom over the past several years.
