Obituary of Joan Peacock

Peacock, Joan Anne (nee Guthrie) Passed away peacefully, with family by her side, at Wellington Terrace in Fergus, on May 26, 2022, in her 91st year. Wife to the late Donald Peacock (1998) and devoted mom to Janice (Jim Chan), Joyce and Jean. Loving grandma to Krystal (Mark Nicholson), Iain and Christopher, and great grandma to Liam, Gemma and Devinn. Big sister to Edward (Char). Joan was also proud of her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son Duncan (1952), her parents James and Margaret Guthrie and her big brother Kenneth. Burial will take place on Saturday, May 28 at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Guelph. A celebration of Joan’s life will take place on Saturday, June 25, 2022 in the Trillium Room of the funeral home from 2 - 4 p.m.. Memorial contributions to the charity of your choice in her name is greatly appreciated. Joan’s daughters wish to thank the kind and compassionate staff of Cedar Gorge, Wellington Terrace, who provided their mom with such wonderful care over the last six years.
