It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Theresia Christians in her 82nd year at the St. Catherine’s General Hospital on Tuesday, October 11th, 2022. Beloved wife of Harry (deceased). Mother and cherished Oma of Sylvia & Willy Oliver of Guelph and Peter & Lori Angermann of Simcoe and their families Jason (Jenna), Karlie (Craig), Jennifer (Jason) and Christopher (Sarah). Great Oma of Hudson, Sullivan & Rowan Martene, Carter Oliver and Odin Arnold. Dear sister if Josef (deceased) & Karin Dobler and survived by friends in Canada and Germany.
Theresia and family immigrated from Munich, Germany to Canada in 1963 to create a more fulfilling life for the family. In the early years she was an integral part of running the Puslinch family farm on a daily basis while tending her large gardens with enthusiasm. Later in life she became a printer and worked at the University of Guelph and Greenmor Printing. After her retirement she kept busy by gardening, knitting, cooking great meals, travelling with family and spending time with her grand children in both Simcoe & Guelph.
Cremation and private internment will take place at a later date at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society Waterloo Wellington 519-836-7672 would be appreciated.
