Obituary of Robert Douglas Leis

Leis, Robert Douglas It is with great sadness the family announce the passing of Doug Leis on Saturday October 15th, 2022 at the Guelph General Hospital. Doug Leis in his 81 year. Beloved husband of Kathy Leis. Dear father of Heather McDaid, Kelly Harder (Randy), Tracey Clark (Doug), Denis Tyrell (Kim). Loved Papa and Grandpa to Christopher, Connor, Aaron, Nikki, Cassandra, Caitlin, Brooklyn, Cameron, Logan and Parker and many great grandchildren. Sadly missed by his sister Barb McConnell and his brother Bruce (Sharon). Doug was predeceased by his parents Martha (Lichti) and Allen Leis; his sister Marjorie and brothers Murray, Elmer, William and Norman Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph on Wednesday October 19th, 2022 at 1:30. Followed by a reception in the Trillium Room of the funeral home. Masks are required to attend the service. If desired memorial contributions can be made to the Foundation of Guelph General Hospital, the Guelph Humane Society or Wellington Terrace (Fergus) would be appreciated.
