Obituary of Agnes Chihrin

Chihrin, Agnes, Josephine ~ The passing of Aunt "Gig". Born Agnes Josephine Tanti in Guelph, Ontario, Agnes Chihrin passed away quietly at Wellington Terrace in Fergus, Ontario on June 21st 2017 at the age of 88. Agnes will be remembered by her sons, Terry and Chris, and their spouses Janet (Sinclair) and David (Tilley); grandchildren, Melissa and Stephen, and his wife Tiffany (Kwok) and her great-grand daughter, Natalie Rose. She will also be remembered by her surviving siblings: Walter Tanti (and his wife, Vivian), Joseph Tanti and Margaret Ziegler. She is pre-deceased by her husband, Michael Chihrin of Borusiw, Poland and sisters: Mary Cassar, Evelyn Asselstine and Dorothy Dimech; and her mother, Carmena Farrugia Tanti of CasaPaola, Malta and her father Joseph Tanti of Cospicua, Malta. A private graveside service will be held at Marymount Cemetery, Guelph, Ontario. A mass wil be said in memory of Agnes at St. Mary's Immaculate Church, 267 Geddes Street, Elora, Ontario on Sunday August 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Mom loved the gardens and swans that made Wellington Terrace such a wonderful place to spend her last years.
