Hoerdt, Adolf ~ Passed away at Hospice Wellington, with family by his side, on Sunday, January 7, 2018, in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Ursula. Devoted father of Hubert and Jane, Margaret and Brad and Edward and Cosimo. He was the cherished Opa of Adrian and Melissa, Aaron and Melanie, Alissa, Barry and Tracy and Amanda and Brad. Great Opa of Natasha, Nicole, Vida Mae and Sophia. Adolf was the dear brother of Helmut and Maria, Melitta and Otto, Edmund and Emilie and Erwin and Gwen. Predeceased by his brother Theo and sister-in-law Ksenia and by his infant sister, Frieda. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Friends and family may call at the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. for a funeral service. Visiting will be for 2 hours prior to the service (from 9 – 11 a.m.). Interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park and back to the funeral home for a reception.
