Obituary of Alberta Young

Young, Alberta Ann Passed away peacefully, after a short battle with cancer at St. Joseph’s Health Centre, Guelph on Wednesday, July 24, 2019, at the age of 73 years. Beloved wife of the late Dennis (2000). Proud and loving mother of Kim Deacon (Eric), Rick Scott and stepmother of Shannon (Derek). Cherished grandmother of Brandon (Sarah), Ashley Ann, Courtney and Kyle; Step grandmother of Kayla, MacKenzie and Jackson. Alberta’s presence will also be missed by her sister Donna Daly (Pat), her niece Carrie Daly, her best friend Maria Grift and her furry companion, Holly. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. with visiting for one hour first from 12 – 1 p.m. at GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to St. Joseph’s Health Centre Foundation, Guelph.
