Obituary of Andrew McArthur

McArthur, Andrew Stewart Wynen May 11, 1990 - Nov 22, 2020 Andrew passed away suddenly in Beaverdell, BC at the age of 30. He is sorely missed by his parents Yvonne and Gordon McArthur and brothers Robert and William of Fergus, ON, Gordon Jr (Becky) of Cranbrook BC and sister Alison of Hamilton, ON. Missing him also are his 5 nieces and nephews and Aunt Angela (Wynen) as well as the many friends Andrew made on his life's journey. Andrew was born in Guelph, ON. The family moved to Fergus, ON in 2001 when he was 10 yrs old. It wasn't long after high school that he went to BC to join his brother Gordon and his family in Cranbrook. Although Andrew went back and forth between Ontario and and BC it would ultimately be the beauty and tranquility of BC that would win him over. Andrew was always most at peace in nature. At the time of Andrew's passing, he was living his dream at work and home with his partner Alannah Grohne and their dog Tubs. Andrew was passionate about being a chef which served him well while enjoying many exciting experiences. Andrew was an energetic personality. He loved people, excitement and life. Andrew lived his bucket list! Andrew will be loved and missed for forever and a day A private service was held at Gilchrist Chapel McIntyre and Wilkie Funeral Home of Guelph, ON on May 31, 2022, followed by a celebration at the McArthur family home in Fergus.
