Obituary of Anne Rolston
ROLSTON, ANNE –
Passed peacefully at 11:02 a.m. on Friday, October 21, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Ronald G. H. Rolston and dearly loved mother of Lorrie and her husband, Eric Cosens, of Marlbank. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Ron (Kristen), Jennifer (Kevin McCauley), Scott (Victoria) and Colleen. Dear Great Granny to Gaelan, Doyle, Malcolm, Rinoa and Finnley. Predeceased by her sisters Elsie Zimmerman and Patricia Sorochan of Regina, Saskatchewan. Anne was a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan. She started her teaching career with the Wellington County Board of Education in 1963 and took early retirement in 1995. She taught at Guelph C.V.I. and John F. Ross C.V.I. She loved time spent at her cottage and she also loved travelling. Before her death, she had visited most countries in the world. Friends may call at GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2022. The funeral service will be held at Trinity United Church on Stevenson St. in Guelph with Rev. John Benham officiating on Friday, November 4, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. A private family Interment will take place at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery (762 Woolwich St. Guelph). Expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
