AUDREY BEATRICE PEARL THOMPSON
September 22, 1926 – December 16, 2022
In the early morning hours of her 97th year, Pearl peacefully entered eternity on December 16, 2022 from her home at Arbour Trails. As her earthly journey became challenged by health complications in the last few months, Pearl was surrounded by her family who loved her dearly.
Pearl was the beloved wife of the late J.A. Perry Thompson (2018) and much-loved mother of Sandra Hong (Wayne Hong) of Guelph, and step-children Grant Thompson (Dawn Richards) of Summerland, BC., and Cynthia Suprovich (John Suprovich) of Sioux Lookout, ON. Pearl will be missed by her grandchildren; Celeste Donkersgoed (Guelph), Jennifer Pearson (Guelph), Pamela Payne (Sioux Lookout), Gwen Suprovich (Winnipeg), and Sheila Suprovich (Sioux Lookout) as well as great-grandchildren; Ella and Willem Donkersgoed (Guelph) and Hanan, MacKay and Annaline Pearson (Guelph).
The family would like to express their gratitude to the many staff of Arbour Trails who provided excellent support and care of Pearl through her declining health journey.
The family will celebrate her life and inter her cremated remains in the summer in Port Hope. If desired, memorial contributions to The Salvation Army Guelph Citadel would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to Gilchrist Chapel McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph (519-824-0031).
