We only met Chuck & Karen in the last 2 yrs & travelled along with them to Cuba a few times, we learned the joy that was Chuck, we will miss him so much but treasure the time we had with him. Thinking of Karen who we knew meant the world to Chuck. May memories carry you through this difficult time. Jim & Geoffrey

I had the pleasure of meeting Chuck and Karen in Cuba 4 days before his tragic passing. Like so many of you, the connection was instantaneous! How could you not be drawn to that magnetic personality. The first night we were having cocktails at the bar and I noticed Chuck's rainbow flag thumbnails, and I asked him about them. He said, "just a small thing I can do to show my gay and transgender friends my show of support". I knew right then I was going to love this man. Chuck... I wish we would have had more time, but please know that you are in our hearts, and Karen will forever be our friend.
