Obituary of Ronald Roy Morrison

Ronald Roy Morrison
April 30, 1936 – November 29, 2024
Ron passed away early on November 29, 2024 after a long battle with dementia. Ron was born April 30,
1936 and spent his early days in Fergus and his later life in Guelph. Ron was kind and loving and will be
remembered for his sense of humour and willingness to help others. Ron loved nature, especially birds
and flowers. He also loved Guelph and the surrounding areas and would often visit local markets and
enjoy driving tours. Ron was predeceased by his loving wife Lynn Hyde Morrison and will be
remembered fondly by sister-in-law Janet Hyde (Tom Mercik) and father-in-law Alexander Hyde all of
Pincher Creek, Alberta. Many thanks to the staff at Lapointe Fisher Nursing Home and Riverside Glen
Nursing Home plus others who contributed to Ron’s care. A private burial will be held at a later date. In
