Deloris, Denise, Cindy, Lisa,
I wish I had words of wisdom but I don’t. All I can say is each grief hits different and you ride the emotions of the “wave” as it comes. May you find comfort in knowing his heart, and peace in knowing he is finally at rest.
I especially wish this for you Deloris, that you find much needed peace and comfort knowing Joey is safe and no longer suffering! Let everything else go for that was his journey to take and not for anyone else to judge!
My memory of Joey is his kind heart and him reaching out to me when my brother died with a heartfelt letter. It touched my heart then and still does now. So much so that I’ve kept it for 40 years! May he RIP!
