Dear Mike,
I have many childhood memories of you, your siblings, and your mother (my zia). I still remember coming to visit you and your family in Toronto, and all of us playing down the hill at the local park. We had so much fun. My father Rocco, your uncle, would drive to Toronto from Hamilton to pick up all of you so we could all have sleepovers for a few days. I still remember the good times and how much fun we all had in our childhood. I've always had you and your siblings in my heart, praying that we could see each other again one day. When me and my family learned about your passing, we were all devastated. But now you are at peace with your mother, Zia Natalina. I love you both.
Well Mike, my dear cousin, may the angels take care of you both now.
Love, your cousin Teresa (Gallizzi) Filice and family

I have so many memories of Mike from the 70's, 80's when we all lived so near each other in Malton. They bring smiles, tears and joy. Sadly as we all aged and were split apart due to jobs, child rearing and mostly geographical distance, we spent less and less time together. But physical distance has and never will remove the love, the joy and also in the latter years, the fears for your well-being. So glad you are finally at rest in peace and now joined by loving family who have left this earth ahead of those of us who are still here for now. Often thought of, never to be forgotten. We will band together (all of us who had the luck and pleasure of sharing in your life) to share our stories and help one another get over missing your presence and embrace the peace and serenity that you have now achieved. Let us all be strong for he is in loving arms now with no more worries.
