Kay Kostas

Obituary of Kay Kostas

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a strong and witty lady Kiriaki Kostas, fondly referred as Kay.

Kay showed fierce determination, strength and courage the last few years that she spent in Riverside Glen with her late daughter Mary, who left this world July 2022. She passed away peacefully in Guelph General Hospital with her loving family by her side. Beloved mother of Andrianna (Aaron) Palmer and Christine (Andy) Kyriacou. Loving grandmother of 5 beautiful grandkids Stavroula and Athanasios Polykandriotis (late Mary’s kids), Zachary Palmer (Andriannas son) and Dimitri and Christiano Kyriacou (Christine’s kids).

Kay was always known for her Love and passion for life and for the unconditional Love for her family. Kay will always be remembered for her beautiful smile that lit up the room as soon as she entered it. She survived by her brother Gus Bolus (Maggie). We will always remember for her positive spirit, courage and great sense of humour! She will greatly missed from all her family, the father of her kids Tom Kostas, her dearest friend Pam and family, her nieces, nephews and all her relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held at the Brombal Funeral home on Saturday, November 25th, 2023 from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. Followed by a funeral service held in the chapel at 11:30 a.m. Interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Guelph General Hospital and the staff at Riverside Glen for the wonderful care they provided.
