Obituary of Leila Kingston

KINGSTON, Leila (Peart).

Passed away peacefully at Caressant Care Home, Arthur on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at the age of 103 years.  Predeceased by her husbands the late Delmer “Pete” Peart and the late Clarence “Kink” Kingston. Loving mother of Diane Laur and the late Marlene Walker (Robin).  Cherished grandma of Rachelle Walker (Kerry), Trina Messner (Brent), Jeremy Laur (Shannon) and Julie Ecclestone (Roger).  Great grandma of Chloe Hasson (Luke), Cassandra O’Brien (Matt), Jacob Laur, Emma Ecclestone, Connor Ecclestone, Kyla Laur and Calvin Laur. Stepmother, grandmother and great grandmother to the Kingston family. 

The family would like to express a special thank you to the caregivers at Caressant Care Home, Arthur, especially Donna, for their compassion and wonderful care to Leila.

Leila’s family invite relatives and friends for visitation to the Brombal Funeral Home (formerly Gilchrist Chapel), One Delhi Street, Guelph on Thursday, July 13, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Private family interment will occur at Rockwood Cemetery.
