Obituary of Tina Gavin

It is with deep sorrow that we share our loss of Tina on Monday, October 28, 2013 at Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton, at the age of 44. She suffered through a long course of treatment for leukemia, which she handled with great bravery and dignity. Her loved ones include her adoring partner of 20 years, Susan, and her particularly cherished daughter, Sophie. Tina has numerous wonderful friends from both her and Susan's work lives and their community. These people have all been extremely kind, loving and supportive to her and her family. Tina was passionate about everything in her life, had great integrity and enjoyed learning and laughing every day. She loved being in nature, riding her bike, cooking for loved ones, and spending time with her family doing something or doing nothing together. Friends may call at the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph from 11 a.m. ~ 12:00 p.m. Friday, November 1, 2013 with a funeral service following at noon. A private burial will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
