Obituary of Noris Repaci
Passed away peacefully, at St. Joseph’s Health Centre, Guelph on Friday, February 20, 2015, in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Leo (2006). Noris is survived by her son Eric (Dianne), grandson Brandon and her brother Joseph. Her memory and legend will live on in the many works of art that she has produced over the years. Following is a fitting dedication to Noris that was located with her prized possessions; from a Reverend C. Lamoureux, and reads as follows: "Dedicated to a very fine lady – Noris Repaci – A woman of the world…perceptive to the feelings of others, holding close to her bosom, the beauty of nature. Capturing with paint and a gentle brush, across canvas, the bountiful world we live in. Re-creating the earth on canvas, in order to give it everlasting life. Mixing paint into many colours, inspired by the blends of small birds flying softly by, on a warm sunny day. The forest sings out, as it poses for her. Her face shines with contentment, as she copies ‘God’s’ beautiful creation. Her strokes are tender, as if her hands were guided by angels, night will never fall on the canvas, for the day is permanently engraved. The warmth and fresh air of the day are mixed into the paint, giving the painting a life all its own. I was so inspired by her love for people and nature." Interment of cremated remains will take place at Woodlawn Memorial Park in the spring (date to be announced in the future). Arrangements entrusted to the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph, (519-824-0031). Memorial contributions to the Children’s Wish Fund would be appreciated. We invite you to leave your memories and donations online.
