Obituary of Noel McVicker

McVicker, D. Noel ~ Passed away suddenly at the Guelph GeneralHospital on Monday, September 14, 2015, at the age of 73. Beloved husband of the late Kathleen (Fryers) McVicker (d. 9/2012). Proud father of David and his wife Tammy of Aurora. Dear brother of George (Eleanor) of Guelph and Betty (Gerry Lowe) of Edmonton, AB. and brother-in-law of Robert Fryers (Avril) of Jordenstown, N. Ireland. Dear uncle to Stephen McVicker, Nicole (Tony Furfaro), Colleen Lowe, Kelly Gold, Lynsey and Robbie Fryers; and great uncle of Mateo and Brogan. Noel will be fondly remembered by many friends in Guelph and N. Ireland. Cremation is taking place. Friends may call at the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph ,on Thursday, September 17th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Friday, September 18th at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
