Obituary of Mark Pate

Pate, Mark Dean Wilson ~ Surrounded by his family and friends on Tuesday March 22, 2016, Mark Pate passed away in his 60th year. Loving husband and best friend of Barbara (Prince). Sadly missed by Macy. Dear son of Frances Pate and much loved son-in-law of Hilda Prince. Mark will be missed by sister-in-law Jeanette and his brothers-in-law Wayne (Brenda), Robert and Lloyd. Cherished uncle of all his nieces and nephews especially his great nephews Reed and Madden. Sadly missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins. Mark is predeceased by his fathers Dean Wilson and Lorne Pate, his sister Patricia Wilson-Jones and his father-in-law Fraser Prince. Mark was a long-standing employee at Armtec for 40 years. Mark’s humor, logic and friendship will be very much missed by his many friends and all who knew him. Sincere appreciation to Dr. David Hood and Bayshore nursing team (special thanks to Bonita, Margaret and Kathy) for all their compassion and care. A Celebration of Mark’s life will be held at The Italian Canadian Club, 135 Ferguson St., Guelph on Saturday, April 9, 2016 from 1 - 4 p.m. with sharing of memories at 1:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
