Obituary of Marjorie Horvath

Marjorie Teresa Horvath (nee Macvey) formerly of Toronto, passed away peacefully at Hospice Wellington in Guelph on Saturday January 12, 2013 at the age of 92. Very dearly loved by her late husband Eugene Horvath (May 15, 2006). Proud and devoted mother of Joani Horvath (Rod), David Horvath (Nancy) and the late Scott. Lovingly remembered by brother George Macvey in Vancouver. Pre-deceased by siblings Eleanor, Joseph, Norm, and Ed Macvey. Auntie Marjorie was a lively spirit and will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and friends. She had a special place in her heart for the late Paul Snider (August 20, 2012). Respecting Marjorie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends may call at the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph (from 7 – 9 p.m. Wednesday). A celebration of Marjorie’s life will be held at the Gilchrist Chapel on Thursday January 17, 2013 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Wellington or a charity of your choice.
