Obituary of James E. Rice

James Eckert "Jim" Rice Passed away peacefully, on May 22, 2013, at Guelph General Hospital at 71 years of age. Beloved husband of Elaine (Bieth). Loving father of Lorna (Ardel) of Windsor and Jamie (Mary) of Guelph. Proud grandad of Tyson (Rebecca), Averie, Haily, Griffin, Kennedy and Hunter. Jim will be sadly missed by his sisters, Ilene (Cal) Moser; Pat (Joe) Straus; Ruth Ruggerie; Audrey Breese; brother, Paul and sister in law Sandra Rice. Predeceased by his parents, Trevor & Alvina Rice; brother, Terry and brother in law, Frank Ruggerie. Jim was the owner of Jim L. Plumbing. He was on the executive board of the Mechanical Contractors Association and the Poppy & Track & Field Chairman at the Legion.
