Obituary of James Kelso

Went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at the age of 97 years. Beloved husband of the late Helena (1973). Predeceased by his first wife Antoinette "Tony" and their son James Jr. "Junebug" and two daughters Janet and Jackie. James was a man of many hats "who knew where it was at". Once he had a rhyme for your name, that is how he would greet you. A true gentleman with a huge heart! A volunteer with St. Joseph’s Hospital for over 25 years; an avid outreach supporter for many individuals and organizations and a proud musician. He will be fondly remembered by many friends, family and acquaintances in Canada and the U.S.A. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph on Thursday, July 4, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a service at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Pastor Mike Dell. Inurnment at Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Guelph Wish Fund for Children or The Children’s Foundation of Guelph and Wellington would be appreciated.
