Obituary of Jane Anne Taylor
Taylor, Jane Anne ~ At St. Joseph’s Health Centre Guelph on Friday, September 5th , 2014. Jane Anne (Sutherland) Taylor in her 80th year. Devoted wife for 60 years of William Arnott Taylor. Dearly loved Mom of William James (Jim) and his wife Brenda, Elizabeth (Libby) Meads and her husband David, the late Judith Sloopka (1991) (Michael), Steven (Celine) and Margaret Brown and her husband Richard. Grandma Jane will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Derek (Patty) and Darryl (Leslie) Taylor and Carli (Mike) Rietkerk, Erin (Brad) Whaling and Sarah (Bruce) Meads-Sander, Kyle and Matthew Sloopka, Brett, Todd and Jaime Taylor, Max and Chloe Brown; and great grandchildren Olivia and Alexandra Taylor, Brooklyn and Austin Rietkerk, Nixon Taylor, Elizabeth and Adelaide Whaling and Quinn Taylor. Predeceased by her parents Marion (1979) and James (1948) Sutherland and her brother John (1969). Jane had a deep and unconditional love for others that has been firmly woven into the fabric of all whose lives she has touched. Cremation has taken place.
Friends may call at the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph Saturday September 27, 2014 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., followed immediately by a Memorial service in the Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to St. Joseph’s H. C. Foundation, Knox Presbyterian Church, Guelph or the Arthritis Society would be appreciated.
