Obituary of Janke "Jane" Faber

Faber, Janke "Jane" (Tuininga) ~ Peacefully at LaPointe Fisher Nursing Home on Saturday, December 06, 2014, at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Jan Faber (1990). Dear mother of Folkert "Fred" (Jeanne) of Branchton, Theunis "Ted" of Moorefield; Dieuwke (Jim Norman) of Gananoque, Freda Forrest (Charlie Skerritt) of Port Maitland and Bindert "Ben" (Susan) of Cambridge. Dear Beppe of 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews in Canada and the Netherlands. Predeceased by her parents, her siblings and 2 daughters. Janke was an avid gardener and enjoyed tending her gardens. Thank you to the congregation at Riverside Community Reformed Church for continued support, Dr. Moodley and staff at LaPointe Fisher and Dr. Kelly and staff at Juravinski Cancer Centre for all your compassionate care. Funeral service will be held at the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. (Visitation one hour prior). Reception to follow in the Trillium room of the funeral home. Interment Memory Gardens, Breslau, following reception.
