Obituary of Jolyne Neil

Neil, Jolyne (formerly Larter, nee Bruce) ~ Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Health Centre, Guelph, on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at the age of 69. Much loved daughter and best friend to Gloria Bruce and wonderful and loving mother to Anissa (Cameron Hunter) and Adam Neil. She will be lovingly remembered by the Neil and Black families. Predeceased by her husband, Bob Larter (1982) and her father, Jack Bruce (1985). Jolyne was a long-time employee of The Cooperators insurance where she made life-long friends that were always there for her. She was a member of the Guelph Curling club and a very active volunteer with the Guelph MS Society and Barrier Free committee that resulted in her being awarded the volunteer of the year award from the City of Guelph. Cremation has taken place. The family would like to thank the Nurses and Staff on 3E at St. Joseph’s Health Centre for their kindness and care over the years. In Jolyn's honour, the family will host a Celebration of Life at the Guelph Country Club, 133 Woodlawn Road East, Guelph, Sunday, October 1st, from 2 - 5 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph, (519-824-0031).
