Obituary of Martin Woodley
Woodley, Martin Douglas ~ Passed away suddenly, on Thursday, November 2, 2017, at the age of 59 years. Born on April 22, 1958, he is reunited with our loving parents, his mother, Margaret Woodley (Harvey) and father, Francis Arthur Woodley. Martin aka "Shlubba" is survived by his sister, Margo Milloy and her husband Leonard; his niece Amanda Milloy and her fiance Scott Langman; and his nephew, Brandon Milloy. Great uncle to Bella Milloy and James Francis and new baby. Martin was a gentle giant and will sadly be missed by family out west and the UK as well as his second family at his home away from home, the Fat Duck Pub, with Rose, and Simon and all his many friends who loved him like their family too.
He enjoyed hearing stories at the Fat Duck and preparing taxes both here and "out west" for friends and farmers alike. Cremation has taken place. At Martin’s request, please join the family for a celebration of Martin’s Life at the Fat Duck Pub, Kortright Rd./Edinburgh Rd. Guelph, on Wednesday, November 8th between 3 – 7 p.m. Memorial contributions to The Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated.
Arrangements entrusted to the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph, (519-824-0031). We invite you to leave your memories and donations online at: www.gilchristchapel.com
