Obituary of Irene Whibley

Whibley, Irene L. At the Village of Riverside Glen, on Tuesday, February 5th, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Vic Whibley and Norman Owen. Loved mother of Helen Oates-Kerr (Robert) of Elora, Cindy Clayton (Bruce) of SaubleBeach and the late Norma Owen. Proud Grandma of Laurie Checkley Christopher Oates, Joel Dollery (Mandy), Brianne Dollery (Adam), Andrew (LeeAnne) and Robbie (Angela) Kerr. Special great-grandmother of Cassandra, Cameron, Talan, Jake and Ethan. Sadly missed by her special cousin, Margaret Stott. During the Second World War, Irene worked with the Department of National Defense and spent several years at the University of Guelph, Dairy Sciences Department. She will be greatly missed by her many friends at the Cutten Club and Riverside Glen.
