Reid, Martha Janet (Lyle) ~ Peacefully, on September 17, 2012 at Hospice Wellington at the age of 72 years. Beloved wife of Jack Reid. Loving mother of John, George (Shelley), Carolyn (Frank) O’Brien and Bill (Theresa) all of Guelph. Proud grandmother of Stephanie, Stacey and Frankie O’Brien; Jason, Melissa & Matthew Reid and Nicole and Laura Reid. Sadly missed by her brothers & sisters, Walter (Elizabeth) Lyle of Guelph; Alfred Lyle of Guelph; Elmer (Marguerite) Lyle of New Lowell; Anna (Hanlon) McLean of Guelph; Winnie (Jack) Morrell of Wasaga Beach; Bill (Gerry) Lyle of Guelph; Ronnie (Sheila) Lyle of NS; Albert (Hennie) Lyle of Guelph, the late Marion Bamsey, and brothers in law, Ron Bamsey of Mt. Forest and Frank Reid of Courtney, BC. Martha was an active member of St. David & St. Patrick’s Anglican Church and volunteered at The Village of Riverside Glen. Friends may call at the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph (from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, September 20, 2012 ).
