Obituary of "Al" Galbraith

Passed away at Guelph General Hospital on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at the age of 85 years. Beloved husband of Marjorie (nee Pettifer) for over 60 years. Devoted father of Laurie Hill (Ken) and Paul Galbraith. Cherished Gramps of Brianne, Amiee, Meghan and Eric. Dear brother of Margaret Rice (Ross), William (Anita) and the late Marie Egan and Clark Galbraith. Al will also be remembered as a founding member and Past President of The Guelph Royalaires. He was a proud member of the 11th Field Regiment, Air Cadets, Sea Cadets and the Royal Canadian Colonel John McCrae Legion Branch 234. Funeral service on Friday, May 16, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Gilchrist Chapel with Father Tom Vaughan officiating. Interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park followed by a reception at the Funeral Home.
