Obituary of Shirley Patzer

Passed away peacefully, with her family by her side at Hospice Wellington on Friday, October 10, 2014, in her 95th year. Shirley was the beloved wife of the late Oscar (2008). She was the cherished mother of Dean (Peggy) and David (Beverley). Much loved Nana/Grandma of Kelly, Kristin Sams (Jeff) and Megan Stokley (Tyson). Great Nana/Grandma of Maisie, Makenna, Chase, Neven, Hadley and Isla. Dear sister of Florence Eccles (John), Jack and the late William. Shirley will also be missed by her sister in law, Linda, nieces, nephews and friends. She loved her family and spending time with them at the cottage brought her many joys. She will also be remembered for her fondness of being in the kitchen, with her well worn apron on. Her quiet sense of humour will be missed by many, including those she met during her time at the Guelph Curling Club and The Guelph Lake Commons. The family sends a special thank you to the Hospice Wellington staff and to Dr. Traplin for their wonderful, compassionate care.
