Obituary of Ruth Hardy

Hardy, Isabell Evelyn "Ruth" ~ Ruth passed away peacefully at Wellington Terrace, Fergus on Wednesday March 11, 2015. Ruth Hardy (Blackwell) at the age of 89 years. Wife of the late Chesley "Chuck" Hardy (May 22, 2001) after being married for more than 55 years. They were married June 16, 1945. Dear mother of Linda (Thomas) Kirkham of RR3 Rockwood. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Amanda Chestnut (Edwin), Matthew Kirkham (Lindsay) and her six great grandchildren; Samantha, Spencer, Abby, Hayley, Alyssa, and Owen. Predeceased by her parents Vera (Casler) and A. Norman Blackwell. Friends may call at the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph (from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday). Complete funeral service will be held at Westminster St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, 206 Victoria Road, North on Monday March 16th at 1:00 p.m. Cremation with inurnment at Woverton Cemetery.
