Obituary of Kenneth Roffey

On Tuesday, June 16, 2015, Kenneth Roffey passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital in Kitchener in his 89th year, surrounded by his four children. Ken was the loving husband of the late Geraldine (Winch) 2010. He was the proud father of Jane Roffey (Gary Hill), Bill (Sandra), Greg (late Beverley - 2014), and Martha Cutting (Robert). He will be missed but lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Kendra, Wesley, Olivia, Trevor, Scott, and James. Born in Milton, Ontario in 1927, his family moved to Guelph in Ken’s early childhood. He spent many years in the retail sector, enjoyed golf, curling, and watching CNN. Ken was a member of Speed Lodge A.F. & A.M. No. 189 G.R.C. The Lodge will conduct a Masonic Service at the Funeral Home on Monday June 22, 2015 at 6:45 p.m. Friends may call at the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph, (from 2 - 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Monday). Funeral service in the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
