Stitt, John James Orville ~ Passed away peacefully at LaPointe Fisher Nursing Home on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at the age of 93. Beloved husband of the late Katherine Elizabeth "Betty" (Gensell) Stitt (d.2015). Loved father of Gordon (Margaret) of Collingwood, Marie of Guelph, Ruth of Napanee and Donna (Lee Campbell) of Conception Bay South, NL. Proud grandfather of his grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild. Fondly remembered by his sister Emma Carlson (the late Everett) of St. Catharines and by many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at WOODLAWN MEMORIAL PARK, 762 Woolwich Street, Guelph on Thursday, April 6, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. Memorial contributions to Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
