Obituary of George Henry Mitchell

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George Mitchell on Monday, July 30, 2012. Beloved husband for 52 years of the late Brenda Mitchell (January, 2012). Loving father of Allan Mitchell (Sue Blunt), Karen Bos (Dave), Brian Mitchell (Christa Smith) and the late Greg Mitchell (2004). One of the best grandfathers "Gramps" ever to Jennifer, Mitchell, Nicholas, Sean, Emily, Cameron, Victoria and Brandon. Great grandfather to Chase, Christian and Arionna. Dear brother of Shirley Perusello (Tulio), Daisy MacKay (Bob) and Rhonda Oster (Jim). Fondly remembered by his father-in-law Herluf Berthelsen and sister-in-law Annette Hammond (Ford). He will be very sadly missed by all who knew him. Friends may call at the family home – 7906 Eastview Rd., Guelph for an informal gathering on Saturday, August 4, 2012 any time after 11 a.m. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
