Obituary of Gerry Howitt

Howitt, Gerald Henry "Gerry" ~ Passed away at the Village of Riverside Glen, on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at the age of 92 years. Beloved husband for 60 years of Sybil (Strachan) Howitt. Proud father of Rob (Dolores) and Chris Howitt of Guelph. Loved grandfather of Nicholas, Ann, Stephanie, Heather and Eaton. Predeceased by his brothers John, David, Eaton and Dr. Bill Howitt. Gerry was a Major (retired) in the Canadian Army and was decorated with the Military Cross and the Canadian Decoration. A memorial service will be held at the Gilchrist Chapel, McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, 1 Delhi St. Guelph, on Monday, June 10, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. The family will greet friends at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel.
